Q: I'm having trouble checking out. When I click "add to cart" nothing happens! A: Sorry for the confusion!! This site is set up to accept payments through PayPal. When you click "add to cart", a new window will pop up that is connected to PayPal. You may be asked if you "want to display secure and non secure items". Click yes. You can either close or minimize this screen but it will continue to pop up each time you add another item to your cart. If you'd like to view your cart throughout the shopping process, your best bet is to minimize the screen so you can view it easily. If you are still having trouble with the checkout process, feel free to email me at julia@pookilicious.com and you can place your order via email.
Q: I like what I see but I'd like to
place a custom order. How do I do that?
A: No problem! Send an email to
customorder@pookilicious.com
so we can discuss all the options. Not too creative? No
worries. That's my job! If you have an outfit to match,
some main wardrobe colors, a theme, etc., I can come up with the
design idea after I pick your brain a bit.
Q: How long do custom orders take?
A: It really all depends. I have a pretty big inventory of
goodies so if what you are looking for is on hand, I can have it
ready for you within a week. If it's something I need to hunt
down (I love challenges!) then it will take a bit longer. We will
discuss these expectations once I receive your custom request.
Q: Do custom orders cost more? A: Nope! There is no extra charge for a custom order. It will be priced based on similar items that are already in the shop.
Q: I can't decide which hair accessory is best for this little lady. Please help! A: For newborns up until about 1 year old (or older, if she will leave it in) the headbands are your best bet. The nylon and crochet headbands are very soft and stretchy so they are perfect for this age. The nylon headbands will fit newborns up to 4 years old and the crochet headbands will stretch up to adults. Once she has about an inch of hair in length, the small snap clips will work. Be careful with the small snap clips with the initials as they are heavier and may slip out if hair isn't thick enough. For girls with a nice amount of hair and are 1 year or older (you want it to be proportionate with their head size), the large snap clips are best. Pony holders and french clips are obviously for girls with a very good amount of hair. It doesn't have to be thick necessarily, but length is important. Big girl headbands are for ages 3 and up. If your still unsure, feel free to email me a picture of the little lady and I'll help you decide which accessory is right for her.
Q: What are your shipping charges? A: Orders over $30 ship FREE!! Otherwise shipping charges are based on order total. Up to $8 = $2 shipping; $8.01- $18 = $3; $18.01 - $29.99 = $4.
Q: What is your return policy? A: All items are final sales. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or not as pictured or described, please notify us within 3 days of receipt. We will ask that you send the item back and you will be refunded upon receipt. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.
Q: Can I ship this order as a gift? A: Of course! During checkout, there will be a message box. Include your short (3 sentence max) gift note and your order will be wrapped with a bow and gift card and shipped to the recipient at no extra charge!
